‘The best that I can be’
Dame Tipping in the News
Your children may have told you that our school is on the ITV website, thanks to the generosity of the children in raising money for Gabriel’s operation on our ‘Crazy Hair Day.’
Please use the link below to view the site.
Years 3 and 5 enjoyed a morning of Rugby on Wednesday, they were able to learn new skills and work as part of a team. They all thoroughly enjoyed their morning out with Mrs Potts and Coach.
Class 1 and 2 Visit to Bedfords Park
Fun was had by all in Class 1 and 2 when they visited Bedfords Park on Thursday. They first had the opportunity to observe and explore the park to look for trees and plants and later in the afternoon went on a bug hunt. The children were a real credit to our school. Well done Class 1 and 2.
Year 2 SATs Meeting
Ms. Holmes would like to invite Year 2 parents to a meeting to inform you about the Year 2 end of Key Stage assessments. You will be given the opportunity to look at some sample materials and ask questions. Ms. Holmes will explain what the children need to do in order to meet the end of KS1 expectations and how you can support your children in this.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 22nd March at 8.45 in the hall. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
It is vital that we have your correct contact details and those of at least 2 other people who we can contact in case of emergency. Please ensure that you let us know when you change your number and that we always have a number that we can contact you on. We also need to have your correct address on file, so if you move, please update your records with us. As previously explained, if we do not hear from you when your child is absent, we will contact all the people on your list and, if necessary, visit your home to check that your child is safe and well. You should phone to let us know where your child is as soon as possible on the morning that they are going to be away.
