Christmas Party Lunch

Please let us know if your child would like the Christmas party lunch by Monday 11th December. We can order lunches on the morning of the Christmas lunch, but we would very much like to know numbers in advance. If your child is in KS2, you will need to pay on sQuid by the 19th. The cost of the lunch is £2.20.

Clubs Next Week

Please note, there will be NO sports clubs next week with the coaches (as it is the last full week of term). Booster classes for Year 6 will still take place on Monday and Wednesday and After School Care and Breakfast club will still be running.

Reception and Class 1 and 2 Christmas Bazaar

The children in Reception, class 1 and 2 are on a special quest to raise as much money as possible for new equipment and exciting resources for their new classrooms.Reception, class 1 and 2 will be running a School Christmas Bazaar on 13th December at 2pm.
Please could we have cake donations for the cake stall on Wednesday morning.
There will also be a book sale at the Christmas Bazaar and outside school at the end of the day on Friday.
We appreciate your continued support and generosity.

Dame Tipping Gospel Choir

Our Christmas carol service will take place at St John the Evangelist church from 6.30-7.30pm on Wednesday 13th December. Tickets cost £5 and include a mince pie and warm Christmas punch (non-alcoholic). After feedback from parents, we are now selling children’s tickets for £3. Tickets can be purchased from a member of the choir or from the school. All money raised will be used to buy resources for our children.

‘Narnia’ Payments

Thank you to those of you who have returned your slips for the trip to Brentwood Theatre to see Narnia and for paying on sQuid. If you have a problem setting up your sQuid account, please call Mrs. Wakeman. The deadline for payment is next Monday (11th December).

After School Care in January

We have had several requests from parents for child care just until 4pm. Whilst we are not able to offer an hourly rate (as we need to cover the cost of food and staffing) we have decided to trial a £4 session until 4pm (this will NOT include food). These sessions can be booked on the day, but must be paid for on sQuid before children attend. The cost will be £10 for children who stay after 4pm and this will include a hot snack (toast/muffin/crumpet etc…). Children need to be collected by 6pm.These sessions need to be paid for in advance and there will be no refunds if parents decide not to send their children. If you are interested in your child attending After School Care, please speak to Mrs Wakeman in the office, who will provide you with a booking form.

Breakfast club will continue at £4 per session, including breakfast, to be paid in advance.
