Dear parents/ carers,

We have had another great week at Dame Tipping, with our talented children entertaining us in so many ways. We have come to the end of our first term. It has been a long, but very productive one. There have been quite a few changes to the way we organise things and the way we teach the children. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for their patience, hard work and support and to the children for working so hard. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and very merry Christmas.

Nativity Success

What a wonderful performance the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children gave us this week. We were treated to fantastic singing, acting and dancing. The children were very professional and remembered all their lines. A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who made the show so good: especially the children. Thank you to Mrs. Whitcombe for teaching the children their dances.

Carol Singing at St. Francis Hospice

Our school choir did us proud once more as they sang for the day care patients, their families, nurses and volunteers at St. Francis Hospice. There are still spaces in choir, so please encourage your KS2 children to come along next term.

Music Assembly

We were treated to some lovely solos from Sidonie, Hermione, Tiffany, Maansi and Dhiya on Wednesday. Thank you to Mrs. McCormack for organising the special assembly and t Iris Budd for accompanying Sidonie on the piano.

Football: Dame Tipping vs Parklands

Our football team played Parklands yesterday. They lost 4-1, but the goal difference is narrowing!

Thank you to everyone who organised, ran, attended and supported the Christmas Fayre last Friday. It was a fantastic event. We will let you know how much has been raised as soon as it has been calculated. All money raised will go towards the playground project.
