‘The best that I can be’

Dear parents/ carers,

We have had another very busy and enjoyable week at school, including a ‘habitats walk’ for Class 5 and 6. We didn’t see many animals up close, but did see a herd of deer cross the top field, which was exciting.

Census Day Lunch

Next Thursday, the 21st January, is Census Day. There will be a special 3 choice menu of the children’s favourites. The more children who have a school lunch on that day, the more much-needed funding the school will receive, so we would encourage EVERY child to have a school lunch on that day. All Reception and KS1 pupil lunches will be free, as they are every day.

The menu is: burger in a bun, fish fingers, cheese and  tomato pizza. These will be served with a choice of broccoli, baked beans, potato smileys and jacket potato. Dessert will be iced sponge, fresh fruit, yoghurt or crackers.

Parents Evening

This term’s parents evening will take place on Tuesday 23rd February, from 2pm-6.30pm. We will aim to provide a space for you to look through your child’s books with them before or after your meeting with the teacher.

PE Kit

There were several children who did not have PE kit this week and were therefore unable to participate on the PE sessions. Please ensure that your child has a full kit, including shorts, tracksuit bottoms and spare socks in school every day.
