‘The best that I can be’

Romans 5.3–4: ‘Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

This week, the Headteacher of another local school visited us and spoke to the children about their learning. She was impressed with teaching and learning and with the fantastic attitude of our children. We will all continue to work hard to ensure that the children achieve the very best that they can. It is fantastic that so many of you take such an active role in your children’s education, as this makes such a difference to children’s progress.

Collective Worship Team

The Collective Worship Team planned and delivered their first assembly on ‘Perseverence’ this week. They did a really good job and will be delivering assemblies on our core Christian values each half term.

Grand Opening

We will be having the official opening of our new buildings on Friday 2nd February. Due to space, we will not be able to invite parents in to the actual opening, but will open up the school in the afternoon so that you can have a look at the new facilities.

Forest School Volunteers

Please let Ms. Holmes or Miss North know if you are able to help.

Changes to After School Care Hours

Due to lack of demand on certain days, we will be reducing the number of late nights at after school care. From February half term, after school care will be available for the following times :
Monday : 3pm-4pm
Tuesday : 3pm-6pm
Wednesday : 3pm-6pm
Thursday : 3pm-6pm
Friday : 3pm-4pm
There will be no after school care available after 4pm on Mondays and Fridays, so please ensure that you make alternative arrangements. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause, but without an adequate number of pre booked children, we cannot afford to run the provision.
Please book your sessions in advance wherever possible and pay on sQuid. We hope that after school care will remain viable and can continue long term. Breakfast club will continue to run every day from 7.30am.

Dame Tipping Gospel Choir

The next choir rehearsal will be on the Thursday 1st February at 6.30pm in the school hall. We have some great new songs to learn, so please come along if you would like to sing with us.
