World Book Day
Thank you so much for supporting World Book Day by sending the children in such fantastic costumes. We had a lot of fun sharing stories with one another. It’s so lovely to see the children so excited about reading.
Read for Good Readathon
The Readathon ends today. Money needs to be in by 15th March, please.
School Uniform
The children are looking smarter in their school uniforms, which is lovely to see. Please can you ensure that your children also have appropriate PE kit, including plain, dark trainers or plimsoles. Please remember that children should wear school logo polo shirts for PE, as these are much smarter and crease less.
HABCOS Traffic Meeting
I was so proud of George Viney, Fern Collins and Aaron Hick, who spoke in front of local counsellors and our local MP about the problems with the traffic outside our school. I sincerely hope that something will be done soon to make the road safer for all members of our community.
Lent Games
As you know, Lent began on Wednesday. Our Year 6 team will be co-ordinating Lent Games which will begin on Thursday next week. We will let you know via Dojo when your children should bring in money to play the games. All money from our Lenten appeal will go towards sponsoring our 2 girls in The Gambia.
