Goodbye, Mr.Evans
The children and staff held a special assembly yesterday to say ‘Goodbye’ to our Deputy Headteacher, Mr. Evans. Mr Evans has worked at Dame Tipping since 2010 and has taught many pupils in year 3,4,5 and 6 as well as being our ICT co-ordinator and SENCO. We wish Mr. Evans every happiness in his new school and with his future career.
Hello, Mr. Matthews
I am very pleased to announce that we appointed a new Deputy Headteacher on Tuesday. His name is Mr. Matthews and he is currently teaching in another Havering school. Mr. Matthews will be joining us in September, but will be visiting next term to work with myself and the staff team to plan for exciting developments in the future. I am sure you will all join me in welcoming Mr. Matthews when he comes.
Year 3 and 4 Tag Rugby
Year 3 and 4 pupils attended a tag rugby festival in Upminster on Tuesday. They had a fantastic day out and scored a try in every match. Our star of the day was Jack Robinson, who scored 8 tries. Well done to everyone and thank you to Mrs. Davies and Coach Del for taking the children.

On that note I would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of the Friends of Dame Tipping to Darren Whitcombe (Poppy’s Dad) who very kindly donated the daffodils for our Mothers Day Gift event and helped to raise £150 towards our playground target.
