We are delighted to announce that the SIAMS report from the recent inspection of Dame Tipping Church of England Primary School has now been published.
The inspection confirms that we have been awarded a J1, which means, ‘Through its vision and practice, the school is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish’ (SIAMS 2023).
Our inspector recognised that Dame Tipping ‘is a place of joy and flourishing and its vision is clearly articulated throughout the school’s life and curriculum’.
A few key headlines from the report include:
‘The school is at the heart of its community. Pupils and staff are extremely supportive of each other and are highly valued’.
‘Leadership is aspirational and effective particularly in religious education (RE)’.
‘Curriculum provision is supported effectively by Forest School. It provides exceptional experiences and develops skills in teamwork, perseverance and problem solving’.
We would like to congratulate our whole school community, and thank everyone for their continued support.
Please do read the full report, which is testament to the work being carried out by all colleagues and pupils at the school.
